Today I checked out the Sleep Number DualTemp layer and I have to say what a great idea! I was born and raised in Arizona and it gets to about 120 degrees in the summer time and can stay almost just as hot through the night. On some nights the A/C has a really hard time keeping the room cold so you have a hard time sleeping.
The Sleep Number DualTemp layer uses “DualAir” technology that I have never seen before. It is made up of a memory foam pad with thousands of little holes that actually disperse hot or cold air depending upon the setting you have it on. You can place this on top of any mattress. This way you can keep cool or warm throughout the entire night. You may ask, “How does it pump air into the pad?” There is actually a pump that you plug in next to the bed.
When you first hear the price of $1000.00 per pad it’s a bit shocking considering if you have a king size or sleep next to someone it adds up to $2000.00. However right in front of the mattress it shows they actually have a deal that you can pay small chunks from under $50.00 per month which makes it an easier price to swallow.
As I was driving home in the disgusting heat I was daydreaming about having a memory foam pad installed in my car seat. Can you do that next please? 5 Stars! *****
