My little year old, fully grown, 11 pound Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix was very patient while I lathered him up with this Foam Mousse Dog Shampoo. I think he was just happy he wasn't taking a bath.
The first time I used it I used waaaay to much, like an overwhelming amount. I was thinking since it said shampoo I'd have to use it just like a normal shampoo. But i quickly realized after feeling his greasy coat(and after emailing the company) a little goes a LONG way. So I quickly rinsed him off and dried him.
Through this mistake I learned even though this isn't supposed to be used as a normal shampoo it works as a normal shampoo! Better than a normal shampoo! Normally Leo smells like horrible doggy BO after taking him for a long walk in the summer son but for about a week he smelled great almost like a doggy Deodorant!
I reused the foamy dry shampoo the right way this time and love it just the same. As long as you don't over do it it works great! It made his coat super soft and I love the fact that it doesn't have tons of ingredients, it's simple. Leo loves it too because less baths!!
Originally I thought it was really pricey because it's almost $17.00 on Amazon but after using it and realizing even though I lathered it on him and used way too much, it looked as if it hadn't been used. This is going to last us a looong time and I believe this is my all time favorite new doggy shampoo.
