I actually tried freezing cut up lemon pieces in the ice ball maker just to test it out because I saw that in the main picture and it is so cool. I can't believe I hadn't tried that before! The coasters worked really well and caught any water that excreted inside it's grooves. The ice balls froze perfectly and the coasters look great. I like that they are silicone as well so they can also hold my hot coffee. Thinking about getting another one for fathers day. Two thumbs up.
